Clay Bar

Our detailing clay bar comes in 2 different grades, Fine and Medium. Clay bars are used to removed bonded contaminants from paint surfaces. They help to restore gloss to the surface and leave a slick finish.

Fine – Fine grade will be adequate for most uses. General maintenance and low-medium contamination build up.

Medium – Medium grade is for surfaces with a heavy build up of contamination.

How to use:

-Ensure surfaces have been cleaned prior to using clay. It is also recommended that a chemical decontamination is carried out first.
-Break the bar into 3-4 small pieces. Work the clay in your hands to soften.
-Using soapy water for lubrication, work the clay on the surface with little pressure. Use straight overlapping motions.
